– Saturday AM: Breakfast at 11 CT River Road, East Haddam
– Saturday lunch: Fly-out to Katama Airfield (1B2)
– Saturday dinner: BBQ at Main Hangar
– Sunday AM: Breakfast at Higher Grounds, East Haddam
All events/meals are weather-permitting. Events may include ad-hoc formation flights, fly-outs, etc.

Important Pilot Information

Goodspeed is a privately-owned, public-use airport and seaplane base. It will not be subject to a NOTAM or TFR; please exercise caution in the area for possible extensive seaplane and NORDO traffic.

Runway 14 / 32: 2,120' x 35' of excellent asphalt

Runway 14 / 32 adjacent: ~1,400' x ~100' of rough grass

Runway 16W / 34W: 4,500' x 1,000' of water

All traffic patterns: climb to 1,000' AGL over the river before turning on course to comply with noise abatement rules. Left patterns for all runways.

Please fly less than 1/2 mile out on left downwind for Runway 14 to keep the airport environment in sight, and plan to turn base inside of the power lines to the north.

Seaplane docks may not be suitable for some flying boats.

Grass movement areas may be wet and muddy.
-
Please stay clear of runway lights ~10' from pavement.

Fuel is generally not available; plan on Chester Airport (KSNC), 4 nm SW, for normal fuel needs.
